About Us

Mycostrat GmbH was founded in August 2023 by Patrick Mürner, Breitschmid-Heiniger AG and Kernser Mycotec GmbH (Christian Fanger, Sepp Häcki). The partners contributed their knowledge and experience from their respective fields to Mycostrat. Thanks to this knowledge, experience, and investment in the production facility, the first prototypes for alternative building materials were manufactured and sampled by the end of 2023 and tested in 2024.

 

The company's purpose is the development, production and trade of building materials of all kinds, in particular in the areas of insulation materials, building panels, acoustic elements and other products produced by microbial processes.
